This rugged and barren landscape presents a desertic aspect mostly because of goat farming overexplotation that suffered the area not long time ago together with the lack of precipitations.
This place of dramatic beauty and the ever-present ocean allows us to enjoy spectacular views no matter where are you looking at.
We start our walk at the fisherman village of Playa Quemada until we reach the summit of Pico Naos at 442m above sea level.
Through the walk we will cross a couple of impressive ravines like the Barranco del Fraile and Barranco del Higueral.
The sparse vegetation is mainly represented by bobos (Nicotiana Glauca) o Tabaibas and we will also see cohombrillos at the dried-up riverbed of the ravines and due to the very scarce human presence it is not difficult to spot birds like voultures, falcons, ravens, etc…
Our walks finishes back in Playa Quemada.
